Built along the Gull River, this custom cottage was designed to maximize every square foot without compromising comfort or style. The Approach
Our approach focused on smart space planning and purposeful material selection. By opening up the main living areas and orienting them toward the water, we created a sense of openness well beyond the home’s footprint. Durable, low-maintenance finishes—like laminated vinyl flooring and solid-surface countertops—were chosen to support easy cottage living, while wood ceilings and stained trim bring warmth and character.
The Outcome
The result is a compact cottage that feels anything but small. The open-concept layout, walkout lower level, and screened-in deck extend the living space and enhance the connection to the river.
