Project Overview
This 1970s Viceroy home was thoughtfully reimagined to better support modern living while preserving its original character. The goal was to open up key areas of the home, improve functionality, and create more usable space for a growing, multi-generational family—all while maintaining a warm, cottage-inspired feel.
The Approach
Our approach focused on unlocking the home’s potential through strategic structural and layout changes. Raising the roof over the sunken living room transformed the space into a brighter, more cohesive gathering area, while the expanded kitchen was designed to be both highly functional and inviting. Material selections—like hardwood flooring and custom cabinetry—added warmth and durability throughout.
The Outcome
The finished home feels open, updated, and far more accommodating. The kitchen now serves as a central hub, while the reworked living space creates a natural flow for everyday life and entertaining. Exterior upgrades provide a fresh, durable finish, ensuring the home is as practical as it is visually appealing.
